Hey everyone,
This is my first MP3 clinic post. I've got my own little recording studio going (I have the gear, but record in people's homes, practice spaces, etc.).
This is a band I've been recording for the past couple weeks. I'm at the point where the tracks are all there and I'm on my first round of mixing. I am wondering whether I should compress any of the drum tracks... I feel like I should just because that's what people do, but I am getting a decent sound out of them, and more importantly, the punch of them is there.
What do you guys think about these mixes? Good? Bad? Any comments are appreciated! I've got a lot of practice recording my acoustic band, but I'm new to the whole full-band recording experience.
