pickin' in D ...

sound pretty nice, but electric sounding on those acoustics...which is ok...but many might prefer a more natural sound. The timing in places seems a tad misqued....but very close. also kinda a little cluttered for just the small instrumentation that you use. nice relaxing instrumental tune, for sure though ... I especially liked the synth strings. nice addition.

again your "electric"/acoustic sound. like those Godins... a nice sound in its own right, however. Your vocals are a tad midrangy sounding too. I [want to] hear a bass thumpin' I - V, I - V .....that's for sure. Good front porch stuff (they have nice front porches in the islands....eh??
 
Yeah, the guitar was a Gurian with a DI my dad installed for much of the recording. Mixed with a beta '57 on some parts. In retrospect I would'a taken more time to mic it up but we were pressed for just that...time.
