1. Everytime I switch between Recording and Mixdown modes I lose all my settings and have to go back and re-do the pan, eq, reverb, etc. What am I doing wrong?

2. Also, is there a way to record in mixdown mode so I can adjust the volumes of all the tracks with the faders instead of with the software mixer.

3. Tracks 5&6 always default to being locked together in a stereo pair. Is there a way to make them default as single tracks?

Thanks.

1) How exactly are you switching? All you need to do is make sure all the tracks are routed to the mixer. If you're using the Quicksetup feature, it goes to default settings. Put the tracks in the mixer manually instead.

2) Don't think so. Once you've recorded the tracks, you can move them into the mixer and use the faders, but you'll have to keep the virtual faders down, since you're still monitoring any tracks you're currently recording with the Cue section. That means monitoring the Cue and Mixer sections at the same time.

3) No, you cannot change the default. You could set up a template song and just keep copying it for new songs, but it's not that big a deal to unlock 5 & 6.

Yes, I'm switching with the Quick Setup. Looks like I need to read the manual again.

You could use the Quick Setup first, then adjust your EQ and pans, etc.
