Forgive me for double posting this, I was going to just put this in the Newbe area, but I thought it belonged here as well.

Below are a collection of links I have accumulated to various computer and computer recording related sites. Hopefully they will come in useful to someone. Please realize that neither I nor anyone else, including Homerecording.com, can guarantee the accuracy of any web posting. That's a pretty good list. I think we should have a FAQ page with stuff like that on it, and a link to it at the top of the forum page. Perhaps each forum could have its own little FAQ page. This may help to alleviate some of the "help me build a new computer" and "which soundcard is right for me" threads that appear daily.
 
Thanks R for the useful info. Another resource I have found very helpful is the Langalist. I believe the URL is Langalist.com. Anybody that owns a computer can find helpful information here. Fred Langa also publishes an on-line newsletter (free) that always has interesting tips or links. While it's general computer stuff and not at all music related I have picked up some very helpful info there.
