Yeah Harvey, he threw up in my car too,
but that was because I was the stupid shit that got the bottle of vodka for him.
Since I'm half-Polish, I could be related to the person that MADE that bottle of vodka... :D

Is it me or does that dude slightly resemble Elton John?

Did anyone else see Joe (Voxvendor) in recording magazine's reader's tapes section this month?

Bill

I've never had dinner with Bill Gates, but he is my boss's boss's boss's boss's boss. I shook his hand and introduced myself at a company meeting in 1997, though. Nice enough guy.

I exchanged pleasantries backstage with Bonnie Raitt and drank some of her beer.

(No, not the actual beer she was drinking at the time).

Hey he is the Finnish Elton John. He is also wearing weird glasses.

there is also stuff about Mikko on web telling that he is an alien from planet called HS586.

Crazydoc - How old your parents are? because this guy has been here for a long time. They might have been here in Finland before you were born... or maybe he is your dad's long lost brother.

Presidents....

Back in 2000 when I was living in Taiwan, I went to a memorial concert performed by the Taipei Symphony Orchestra. It was for a long-time politician who had recently died, so the place was full of high-ranking government officials. I sat in the 4th row from the stage, and suddenly (then) President Lee Dong-hui came out and gave a speech. Pretty cool, I thought. During intermission, former Taipei Mayor Chen was on his way to the men's room, so I and 30 or so others got his autograph on our programs.

Well, that same former mayor Chen is now President Chen Sui-bien. So I saw two presidents of Taiwan in one evening. Interesting, since I've lived in Korea for a total of 7 years, but I've still never seen anyone even remotely famous. (Come to think of it, I probably wouldn't really care much if I did.) And in all my years in the U.S., I only saw a U.S. President once, and that was a fleeting glimpse of Tricky Dick Nixon back in '72 when he and his trademark big nose and peace signs zipped through my small town in Ohio on his re-election campaign.

Oh yes, and one of my relatives came over on the Mayflower....

I used to work across from Bud Selig. When he switched offices, I took some of his old carpeting and now use it in my weight room.

I went to school with Glenn Campbell's kids. I recorded a demo with his son in his home studio. Glen is crazy. The first time I met him the first thing he said was, "I remember when you were this big..." in his crazy, southern accent. I also went to school with Alice Cooper's daughter. Alice is a damn good golfer.

I must be held responsible for more "Gambler" movies!

Here's how...
My friend was driving his jeep along Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, CA
when I shouted STOP!
The two pedestrians who walked from the curb while their light was RED
were none other than Kenny Rogers and his manager.
They were very nice BTW, and very embarassed-we had a good laugh.

"You gotta know when to walk away and when to run"!
(bad joke/true story)

I opened for Victor Borge once - they wouldn't let me use his piano (they had another piano for me), but they let me use his piano bench.
