Hi!

Thought I'd post another toon. I did this classical ditty a while back. It's mysterious and it's erm, short. What u reckon?

One things for sure, it won't take long to download! (59secs)

Must get round to doing a long piece eventually! Well, something over 2mins anyway.

Hey Chris,

Again, WOW!

(I ran out of memory so I didn't hear the whole track, but what I did get was:)

Very BIG...
The sense of depth was immediate and set a perfectly compelling stage of sonic imagery perhaps only surpassed by the sense of urgent introspect demanded on a cold grand scale.

I'd say you could very likely contribute to a film score and (Gulp!) scare the hell out of people!!

Another A+ here.

:)

Sounds like the opening to a movie

Nice, but very short.

Where's the rest of it??

That was a wonderful mood piece. It could be used for all sorts of different movies.

An even shorter version would make for one hell of a unique cell phone ring!

The recording sounded a little harsh in the 2 - 4 khz range by the way and a little too much overall verb on the piano.

Keep up the fine work! :)

Geezer does it again. Very nice. You Brits have always been good with music and Stamp Acts, haven't you? (j/k!).

You're probably not a video gamer, I gather from your posts, but maybe some of the others here who are can back me up on this: If you've ever played any of the Silent Hill games, this would ROCK on the soundtrack. If you like music of this type, Silent Hill 3 actually includes the soundtrack (I rented the game, beat it in two days and burned a copy of the soundtrack... cost me a dollar... that's what we call our money over here, by the way). (j/k again!)

You are amazingly talented. Keep up the good work. I will definitely keep listening.

And I'm curious... where exactly is the Ministry of Silly Walks?

(If you get that, you win yet another point in my "Cool People" book.)

Wait... is Nottingham in England or another part of the UK?

Shows how much geography I know.

And seriously, I was just kidding.

more refined than a brummie would do by a long shot..
cool vibe...

:)

Very cool, i like this kinda stuff. This would be a great intro to some metal. Just imagine................right at the end all hell breaks loose......guitars, drums, mouth trumpets......oh wait, scratch that last one.

I was just listening to adulterate :P

This...is...a...dead....parrot....

Yeah, intro to a metal song would be good!

It's a short tune alright. I did it about 4 years ago and i woud've liked to have lengthened it but I accidentally deleted the song and never made a back up. I have a nasty habit of doing that!

Hi. Nottingham? Well, it's in England, sort of in the centre and it's a great place to live. It's famous for:

It's football team (Nottingham Forest)

Robin Hood (Who really didn't come from Nottingham but, hey, who cares)

Its beer

but more importantly, we have the best female to male ratio of anywhere in the uk! Apparently there's 3 women for every man!

Very movie soundtracky ... soundscape stuff, I like it lots, like a little wee tonepoem. Thanks for sharing and contributing eclectic stuff to the board.

I've got one on the board now that you will like, it's got a more or less 'classical' sounding soundscape behind the song, strings, piano, tympanny, cymbal, church organ.

Ah... the parrot sketch...

You've become my hero. Did you know that?

Fawlty Towers. The Bruces. I wave my private parts at your Aunties...

Nothing is better than Python. I have all the movies and the $140 box set of Circus episodes. You know comedy.

Thanks for clearing me up on the geography thing. And, given my success with women, I may have to relocate!

You're very cool.

I'm sorry. I'm turning this into a chat room.

Please don't flame me.

You need.....my hamster?

Hey, don't get me onto Fawlty Towers! My favourite programme ever. And sadly, I know each one just about off by heart!

BTW tried downloading some of your tunes but was having trouble with the links ie. kept getting an error message. Unfortunately i have dial-up. Will try again later.

"Anyone for trifle?...."

So you're going to be elongating this? I could listen to that for a long time - tons of potential - Emerson, Lake & Palmer-ish.
- the ending is perfect - leaves me wondering. Very cool!

No mix issues to my ears - really nice and moody.
