A $5 Organ!!

So my school sold me this AWESOME AMAZING organ for 5 bucks. It's amazing like seriously. It's huge, and heavy, like 300-400 pounds. It has 3 keyboards, pedals and yeah. Effects for each individual keyboard and then a set for the pedals and such. But yeah, I'm new to organs, but I had to jump on this deal. It's the best investment I have made and it's an amazing addition to my home studio. I'll definitely take pics and post them. Just thought I'd share the excitement I've been playing piano for 11 years, so I sort of know what I'm doing with it but yeah. Anyone have any comments, please post them and I'm sure you're wondering what kind it is, I'm not sure, I'll check tomorrow or something.

Here's a picture of an organ has the same shape and design as mine. Anyone recognize the brand? The differences between this one and the actual one I have are as follows: Mine only has 3 keyboards. Only has 1 black pedal thing. Mine doesn't have as many buttons. There ya go. Otherwise their pretty much the same organ And this one is alot more fancy, and bigger sort of.

BTW the "keyboards" are called "manuals", buttons that select sounds for each manual are called "stops", and buttons directly underneath manuals which select a preset selection of sounds are called "pistons".

Sweet!!! Wish I had one. Would you mind taking closeup pics of the stop buttons so we can see what sounds you have?

If you haven't figured out already:
There are big numbers on the stops that look like 8', 16', 4', etc. They are read as "eight foot", "sisteen foot", etc.

32' = 2 octaves lower than written
16' = 1 octave lower than written
8' = sounds as written
4' = 1 octave higher than written
2' = 2 octaves higher than written
1' = 3 octaves higher than written

Lowest C on all manuals including pedals is written as the C 2 ledger lines below the bass cleff.

You probably have something called couplers. You use a coupler to join 2 manuals together so you can play the combined sounds on a single manual.
Eg: Great to Pedal, means when you play the pedals the Great manual sounds will be added to the Pedal sounds. (It's like chaining MIDI keyboards together)

man, your'e lucky... there is an organ at our church (wich is not used for now), it's not as fancy, 2 set of keyboards, and pedal keyboards... maybe 40 switches, also nice rotary effect.. it has a metal thing on it that says : dedicated 1975... i play it sometimes when there aren't people in the church, piano is more funner to play actualy, compared to our church organ, but the organ in that picture of yours would be much funner than piano..
that's how i got interested in organs...

No seriously. I just saw a working Wulitzer 12-pipe organ on craigslist that some guy had in his garage for $500 that I thought was a great deal and would've bought in a second. But I have nowhere to put the damn thing.

I don't know for sure at all but...........that might be and old Lowry organ. Nice finish too!!!
If it works that is quite a deal. Has some neat sounds that no synth will ever produce. I have an old Baldwin that was my Dad's that has some really cool sounds in it. It is no Hammond but my Hammond is no Baldwin either!!!!!!!

But I'm getting rid of this organ. How much should I sell it for?

It just takes up too much space to be useful to me. I wish I could keep it, but i Just really can't. So anyone have any ideas for a price range??

That looks cool!
Those are usually given away for free in my neighborhood. Even old tube Yamahas and Hammonds, but they're huge and a problem to transport.
