8 Bit Inspired Beat....What do you think?

Made this beat with inspiration after playing some old NES roms:

Except for the drums and bass everything was made with 8bit restrictive synths....thoughts?

It honestly gave me a headache. I don't say that to be rude, but there's something very ear piercing about that lead synth. Do a parametric sweep on it and notch out whatever frequency is jumping out unnaturally.

It's a cool idea though, and I like the music. The harmony part had some dissonance with the lead in a few places and the intro was way too long, in my opinion - I was about to give up on it when the drums finally came in.

haha for sure, i know what you mean about that synth being a little harsh! gotta fllter off some of the edge on it!

the intro is rather lengthy too but it's only cause there aren't any vocals on it, once someone puts a chorus over that part it'll make it seem more tolerable! i hope lol!
