i was a bit slow of the mark for this but it has some new stuff....an amp suite from softube with a cabinet simulator

havent given it much of a blast but it sounds good so far...7 classic amps...definitely worth the update if you dont own an amp sim...cant say its gonna replace TH1 or amplitude but its still pretty good...and free :)

i heard the audio demos of this, it wasn't really impressing. I'm from the guitar-rig world.

if youve got anything half decent you wont be impressed, but Ive been running anolog through it this afternoon and it really works with the synths...that and the fact that its a tiny CPU hit make it worth it

I like "re-amping" softsynths when I use them but it normally always needs freezing or bouncing in a larger project...this way you can get a fair idea of the sound and can tweak away during tracking...add the better software when you bounce the stems down

well thats how i reckon Ill use it lol ;)

It's probably stupid of me to even think that in 8.2 Ableton would have fixed all the MIDI glitches I pointed out to them in version 7 that they said they'd fix.

Basic stuff like recognizing multiple program changes in a bar and control changes up to #127... you know, the stuff my Commodore 64 could do in 1984.
