help a boy out........

my normal process is this:

record track in 788

burn track on a standalone burner (Teac)

convert to mp3 thru musicmatch on the puter

send file or cd to others for collab

Now the problem is this.....if'in there's more than 3-4 seconds of silence in the track...the burner will skip to the next track. I've had 3 different standalone burners and all do this. I've always gotten by with this by doing , say, lead vocal and 1 guitar on the same track, hince having the guitar from start to finish. But on this new tune I finally did the vocal seperately, and I can't get the track burned because of the silence between vocals.

I tried recording the tracks from the 788 aux output into the soundcard on the computer, and it recorded mp3 files, but they had nothing but static on'em. And I have no idea why.

thanks,

Dan

sorry....lookers on.........I think I solved the problem, by using the cd drive, and the cd writer function. It just takes the time to "pre-master" each track before the burn.

what a dickwad I am......... :D :D :D :D :D
