That was really cool and it sounded like a good mix to me. You have a particular sound to your posts and I like that. Could you tell me a little about how you record your vocals (mics, pre, effects)?
 
Love it. A bit more complex than your usual arrangements. Nice wee bits of ear candy.

The "Come Together" shoop is cool, but maybe a wee bit loud and a wee bit overused?

I like the snippets of distorted guitars.

And the best bit is when the stereo-panned vocals shift from unison to widely-spaced harmonies - very effective.

Geez they are coming hot and heavy now, i think i checked yesterday and didn't get a chance to listen to number 6. This one sounds very good, interesting sounds in this one almost like lo-fi f/x. Good job.

Hi ashulman. Well cheers. I dont know the name of the preamp but I have a MC1 condesor mic. It was cheap but does the trick for me. I always use th compression effect on fourtrack when recording. this song was alittle wierd though. i actually used a water bottle chpped in half and then recorded some bits with a chorus effect on. i also recorded a voice part along with guitar the same at the, to get that fun sound. Good fun to do. thanks again.

Alibish. Cheers man. Yeh I gave it a good seeing too. It real fun trying new things when recorded. it usually end up all right. But, yup I used it too much and a little loud. I have the second part of the song ready now, or atleast a follow up. I post it.
