I went to a Martin Sexton concert the other night. He played something that looked like a hollow body (it had several little slits on top of the top near the low E string)guitar but sounded like a six-string bass. The frets looked like those of a regular guitar. He made it sound like two guitars, bass and rhythm. Is anyone familiar with this animal?
BTW, I always thought he sounded like a weenie on his CDs, but the guy absolutely rocks in person.
