The fun spilleth over! Sounds like the boys have run through this tune once or twice.
It will be cool when you get two more tracks out of the 788 (or whatever your waiting for).

I like the easy picking and loose feel but, will be happy to have a more complete audio vision of the Wed Nite Jams.

If you've time and inclination, please listen to my tune under "is this mix close".
The reason I ask is because it is a basic, folk/love/story song that I could have gone very acoustic with and my "pickin buddies" decided to take a different direction. So, I'd love to hear what you hear on the tune.

Keep um coming and don't let the dog lick the mike.

Peace,
Theron.

hey pal,

eating, drinking, playing, recording, how much more vision can there be. he he he he he he
True, the bass would have done a lot for the mix. and it's not out of the ?. I can add some later. But the overall feel of the Jam was just to good to screw with, so it went down as was.

I listened to you tune. Take a look.

Got my toes tapping. Real fun song.

The guitars were a bit back in the mix. I'd bring them up a bit. Loved the fiddle and the vocals (even if they were a bit difficult to understand). :D

Did somebody hit the "Stop" button a little early?

:) Good'ole country-stuff. Makes me think of Deliverance 8)

The banjo could be louder, or is it banjo that's coming from the left during verses? Groovin'

opps,
3M, yeah the tape ran out. hate it when that happens. "live"
recording with 4 mics just don't cut it for all involved. but sure is fun, and that's the ticket. If you think it's hard to understand the vocals, you should talk on the phone with Watt. It's like "uh huh, yeah, what you say?

Cranky,
No banjo. More than likey, the mando. I had others say that to. It must be David's style of rythum on the mando that picks up with a little twang or something. I hear it to. And yeah, on our regular WNJ we take turns doing the "squeal like a pig" scence from "Deliverance". he he he he he, shit man, why am I laughing, it's my turn to be the pig this coming Wed. Damn.

Thanks for listening and I hope ya'll had a good laugh.

Wow you guys are great!

I really dig the vocals, and the playing is fantastic!

Now that don't rhyme!:D

Great stuff.

Best to you,
Pete

Yehaw, pretty cool, dude. It has a great feel to it. A little compression on the vocal and fiddle might help but overall it has a great retro sound to it.
