Hi All: I recorded these this afternoon. Mark Rubinstein was by our house yesterday and he offered me a few new mic placement ideas to tinker with. This is my first attempt with them. Mark is a genuis keys and of sound recording. He was just hired to run Ohio State University's recording engineer program and his credits are deep, including engineering for Natile Cole, running sugar hill recording studio, and tons more. It was great to see him again. We figured it has been 16 years since we last saw each other. We will be playing together in the near future once he and his wife get settled up here(they are coming from San Antonio in August). He is a great keyboard/accordian/bassist. Walter

I want to love you Louisiana style
loving a strange woman
tip toe boogie
twist them hips
your love gives me the blues

Walt!! That track "I wanna love you, Louisiana style"... that harmonica part... by the time you went into the harmonica solo, I had tears running down my face (tears of joy, Walt).

If Creedence Clearwater Revival had recorded that, it would've been a hit for them... It probably would be a hit now if YOU went to Nashville and recorded it... but I know that's not your bag...

Super, Walt... just great feel and everything, made up on the spot (wow!)

Btw I had a listen to Gwen, I love that lyric and delivery on "Tears in the snow.." Just beautiful...

Yer pal,

Frankie xxx

P.S. NOW I'll go and listen to the other 4 new ones!!!:D

Wow Walter - you have an incredible talent. Great songs.

I wanna love you, Louisiana style was awesome. I wish I could do that. All I do is play drums, that's easy compared to all that.

Hi Frankie: Thanks! Sometimes I get tempted to do a "real" record just to say I did it. But as soon as I start, the spontobeat bumps it right out. It is just too much fun compared to a methodical approach for me. I will tell Gwen you like her music. She is a special one. Walter
