A RockAxe guitar with the speaker in the body was sitting on a tarp at the flea market. $5. Great. I'll take it.
The battery cover was missing, and the 9V adapter was torn out. The wires were still there. I put the wires to the 9V and the speaker works.
I had to pay $2.50 for a 9V adapter. It was so hard handing the money over. I only spent double for the guitar.
It works great. For a guitar that looks like it's been through the mill, the neck is in excellent shape. I just have to put new strings on it.
$5 is better than $7.50. Though that's still a pretty incredible deal.
I don't know if this is the brand. Back in the 90s, guitars with these speakers were like $300. Back then, I thought they'd make great practice guitars.
