Hello all. I have a question. I can't seem to find a definite answer that I understand totally 100%, so here goes.

I want to put this jack plate ---> Jack plate - Mono/Stereo Plug and Play | CE Distribution LLC into my Crate 4x12 cabinet. I'm using 4 8ohm speakers. Will I be able to run this jack plate to get a mono/stereo cab? I don't want to wire it wrong and cause any problems. Right now I'm using a Behringer PMH2000 as an amp head. It has stereo out @ 4ohms 250watts and 8ohms 180watts. You can also bridge it for 500watt @ 8ohms. I never use the bridge though. I'll be getting a new amp head eventually but I can't afford it now.

Will that plaug and play 3 jack plate work well for my circumstance, and am I able to wire the cab to get the right ohms so I don't blow up anything? Thanks.

The wiring instructions are right there on the page you linked to...and it doesn't appear that you can use (4) 8ohm speakers with that plate. You can use (4) 16ohm or (4) 4ohm because you need to end up with 8ohms each for Left and Right side.

With your (4) 8ohm speakers...you can only end up with 4ohms or 16ohms each for Left and Right side, which appears not to work with their options.

Yeah, it looks like that jackplate is for use with two 8 ohm speakers, not 4. You could use two of them, wire up two speakers to each, then run each jack plate in the 4 ohm mono mode. If you're not planning on switching power amps often, you could do the same thing by wiring both sets of 2 speakers in parallel to a single jack.
