I recently got a 488mkll, but bought it without a manual so I'll be needing more help from you in the future. Here's today's question. How do I control the volume of other tracks when I'm overdubbing. say for instance: on track one I have an electric guitar, track two I have an acoustic guitar, and on three I'm recording a vocal. How would I control the mix in the headphones while I'm recording? am I making any sense at all?

Hey Alibifactory,

look on your machine and see if there are switches for each track that say: tape, off and mic/line. This is the input selector. make sure that the tracks that have been recorded are on tape. This way you can just use the faders for each respective track to adjust the volume of each track. I hope this helps.

peace,
da muzicman
