488 cue question

For some reason, There is no control over the individual cue control for whichever track I am overdubbing. Lets say I have 3 tracks recorded and I am recording the 4th track, there is no cue volume control for the 4th track. Its always way to loud in comparrison to the other tracks cue volume control.

I have a mixer I can use to get creative and figure out an alternative route to fix this problem. Anyone ever have this problem? It makes it really difficult to record.

If you have 3 tracks recorded and you're recording the 4th track, then tracks 1-3 come over the cue mix and the input that's routed to track 4 comes over the main buss, (Group 3/4).
