424MKIII as a MIXER?

I am using the line out going to a EMU 0404 sound card in. I want to go back in to the 424MKIII from the sound card out and feed powered speakers or casset deck. I tried this on 5/6 and got feed back. What am I doing wrong? Tnx in advance.

You'll have to disconnect the line out going to your soundcard in order to stop the feedback loop.
