Hi
Track 3 of my almost new (and obsessively taken care of) 414mkII just stopped working. The input seems to be fine, the problem appears to be the head.

Can anyone tell me of a reliable place where to send my precious to be fixed? I live around Atlanta, so a place in the south east would be great.

Is there a way to fix it myself? Like, can I buy a new head and try?
Thanks!

:D Yo Cy:

In all of Atlanta, there should be someone who can attend to your ailing recorder.

If not, you might call Sweetwater Sound and get a repair techie on the phone and explain your problema.

Sweetwater can repair your unit; however, this involves those high shipping charges, in addition to a sizeable charge.

Go to a few gear stores in Atlanta and ask the salespeople about WHO might repair your box.

Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving.

Green Hornet  :D

Thanks 4 feedback

Ok, I didn't know Sweetwater could do that for me. I'll certainly do what you suggest.
Thanks!
