$400+ for a m216 mixer - what is the world coming to?

That's a bit on the high side but it does appear to be in decent shape, comes with all the documentation and did sell when new for more then double the selling price.

Though phantom power and direct outs are absent on this model, it can serve as a decent PA or less ostentatious home studio mixer.

Not the end of the world. ;)

I would have spent closer to $250.00, myself, if I were in the hunt for such a beast in today's market but I must admit, I did own one of these boards back in the early 90's for a short time and I think I remember paying some where in the 600 range at that time and sold it shortly afterward for a similar amount when I moved onto my current double M312B regime.

Cheers! :)
