4 killer amps FS: VHT Pitbull 50CL, Rivera Knucklehead I, Mesa Dual Rectifier, H&K

The VHT Pitbull is the version with added 6 band EQ. The ultimate rock tone ever, read the reviews, check Harmony central. Its incredible. 50 watts, with El34's loaded in. A LOUD 50 watts.
Make legitimate offer, you pay shipping. $1799 new.

Rivera Knucklehead I, 100 watts, sounds great, might need a retube. I'm thinking $850 is fair on this one, make an offer, you pay shipping. This thing is a boat anchor, therefore shipping might be up there. Maybe not too bad though, I dunno. Most of what I've shipped is mics, and those go for like $4, so I dunno.

Mesa Dual Rectifier, 3 channel version, new Svetlana power tubes, make offer, has footswtich and pleather cover, its warming up right now for me to jam on for a few minutes. Make offer, you pay shipping.

Hughes and Kettner Warp7 guitar head, gets a great recorded tone actually, metal heads love it around here, see lots of them live. 100 watts I beleive, and I'll let this one go for an incredible $210, you pay shipping. I might even take $200 and a picture of your wife naked or something. :) Perfect, but used, shape.

paul@demokingproductions.com serious only!

Actually I have mine for sale, the 3 channel one listed here, and a buddies 2 channel dual rectifier. Both are heads.

For his dual 2 channel he wants $840 I believe, plus shipping.

Mine I need a good offer on, but they never go less than $1000 on ebay for the 3 channel duals.

Paul,

My son said he may, I repeat may be interested but obviously you would have to be prepared and able to pack for shipping to Australia, so please let me know your thoughts on that. In the meantime I will do some checking on possible costs involved, although I will be guessing the weight.

Also I am trying to find out whether they have internal switching for 110V/220V/240V domestic power or whether a complete rebuild of the power supply would be necessary

BTW mate, those 603's are still my fave mics on acoustics here.

I'll ship it over there, and I'll check on P.S. problem, but I cannot sit and wait on the sale for like 3 weeks, this guy will kill me. You can probably get the weight off the mesa site, its rather heavy, and you ca nprobably call them for dimensions and weight. They are cool people.
Get back to ya

Paul,

I just spoke to the Aust., Boogie distributor...............they advised that the pwr supply would have to be virtually replaced at a cost well in excess of $600 for parts alone. That just about screws the idea I'm afraid which is a bummer as had they had the switchable supply like the early Boogies I may have bought both heads off you and sold one on out here.

Sorry about that mate.

Just to be sure, I have emailed Boogie direct and asked about the power.............will let you know when I get their reply.

Mesa even says on thier website that they are unlikely to answer email in a timely manner and to just call. When I ride over to my house I'll look on the back and see whats up with it.

Yeah I just received an automated reply from Boogie saying that they don't answer emails regarding tech questions. It's unlikely that you would see anything on the back of the amps, my enquiries locally had brought up rumours that there may have been a secondary tap on the transformer wiring for 220/240V BUT at the same time I've heard stories of guys who have imported Boogies having to totally rebuild the power transformers, so who knows.

I will keep researching but I don't want to mess you around so for the time being, don't worry about selling to us.............if I find some positive info and the amps are still available then I'll reconsider bugging you.

Thanks mate and take care.
