And whats wromg with the 3630 compressor

Ive got enogh money to burn, and find that its as good as anything. You are nothing but sheep if your brainwashed into thinking its a bad piece of kit.

you are right. I brainwashed myself when I used one and found that it vitually did nothing to change the sound that I was sending through it. But thanks for playing.
 
I have one of these. Every time I hook it up I decided it's better to proceed without it. :p
 
its well worth it for the price. very happy with it on drums and i used it to limit a feeding back guitar the other night. worked great. for those who turn the knobs and say nothing happens, well compression is kind of an analytical thing, not like an eq, you have to think a little.

But isn't that what a compressor should do? Nothing audible? Like if you can hear it working then you're doing something wrong??

Boy, I thought I was confused before......
