I listened to American Idol. I thought the singer had a real good rock voice. Real tight doubled guitars.
The drums are a bit robotic. The snare is a bit on the thin side. It's pretty far back in the mix. Same for the kick. The toms are way wide. They bounce back and forth in spots.
The distorted guitars sound OK, but a bit on the boxy side. Maybe a bit too much gain too. They're a little fizzy.
I had trouble hearing the bass. Was there one?
Harmony vocals in the chorus would be a help I think.

listened to on edge...
the bass high end is clear (in the beginning), just needs a lot more low body. low low. if you (listeners) turn it up, you'll hear the bass. needs more.
at :16 i'm hearing right speaker clipping. toms on the fill or something.
i would like a bit more snare. maybe some more mid.
it all sounds pretty good. the singing vox sound good. maybe give a little more highs. but not totally needed.
