24bit 96kHz

Using the audiophile 2496 soundcard and cooledit 2.0, how do I obtain 24bit and 96kHz recording and playback?

When you confugure the card for it. Under the control panel there should be a M Audio icon, click it and open the options window for the card, there should be a list of bit depths and smaple rates..pick 24 bit and the 96 khz buttons.
Then when you start a new project in CE, there should be options there when you start.

Just guessing though from memory. Im not at "my" pc right now.

...yep ...your right.

you have to "hardcode" it in your soundcard control panel and then in Cool edit just choose the 32 bit option....

and then yll have 24/96.

Any way to get CE2.0 to work with the M-Audio Audiosport Quattro in 24/96?? You would be my savior if you could tell me how!! ;-)
