2488 neo (no playback from headphone jack)

Hello everyone, I have a 2488 neo and the headphone jack is not giving me playback. My headphones are working correctly and I have moved the main volume up and down but there is no change. When I try to playback a song or even the demo I get no sound. If I click the 'Click' button however, I can hear the metronome. Why can I hear the metronome but not the playback? Thanks for answering the new dummy. :wtf:
 
Pretty hard to diagnose this one.

Obvious question: Is it playing through speakers and you just can't get it through headphones?

A few others: Make sure you don't have one channel solo'd by mistake. Make sure your master fader and volume is up. Do you see 2 lines going up and down in your master fader section?
 
I'm trying to remember what the cause was, but this would sometimes happen to me on my 2488, and it was never the machine's fault.

Oh yes! I remember. Any time this happened to me, it's because I was in BOUNCE mode and forgot to get out of BOUNCE mode.

But arcaxis's suggestion about the STEREO button is a good one to check too.
 
Thanks for the help. I DID NOT have the track faders up. Chalk one up for stupid on my part. Still very new at this so the learning curve is hairpin for me. Thanks again!!
