So when i'm stagnating i'll just open pro tools, play with drum loops or key patches and force myself to write a tune and record it in a day. This took two after replacing drum patterns with a played part. It's not perfect or mixed particularly well and I guess the arrangement is kinda hokey and it needs singing but I think it has a good retro vibe. At least I got something out of the day.

Sounds pretty cool - especially given that you say you kind of threw it together in a short period of time. Good energy. The clarity and separation are pretty good.

The bass part was cool, but certain notes seemed boomy to me every time you went to them while others didn't have that quality at all. May be partly my set up here though. Just listening on little bookshelf speakers with a cheap sub. Thanks.
