Hey all, our church is upgrading our sound system, and we need to find a mixer type interface that can stream 24 independent channels to our PC. I was looking at the Phonic Helix Board 24 MKII, but it can only stream 16 channels. And it really needs to be set up like a mixer. Because I was really wanting to just daisychain 3 PreSonus Firepod and daisychain 3 Behringer BCF2000 Control Surfaces, but how would we get zero latency audio to our speakers, subwoofers, etc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thnx Jacob

i recently copped an old 24ch soundcraft board and am considering useing motu 24i/o as convertors... seems to be the least expensive way to get 24 ch of i/o...

I can vouch that the MOTU 24i/o works great for 24-track recording setup in church. We've used ours for about five years now, with the PCI-X Core card inside of a five year old Apple Power Mac G5. For preamps, we were using three 8-channel rack mount mic preamps with TRS outputs, then wired into the 24i/o, which is then wired to the PCI card in the G5. We record with Logic Pro. The MOTU works just as well in and with a Windows PC, using whatever Digital Audio Workstation software you want to use.
