24-bit .wavs?

Does anyone happen to know if there's a way to convert .wav files to 24 bit in Cool Edit? Our mastering engineer wants them in 24 bit format and all we can find is 32 and 16.

You'll have to convert sample type. The easiest way if you have multiple files is to go to FILE-->BATCH FILE CONVERT.
Step 1: ADD FILES
Step 2: RESAMPLE FROM 16 BIT TO 32 BIT. Keep the sample rate the same unless the Mastering Engineer told you to change it.
Step 3: NEW FORMAT. Make it Windows PCM wave. In format properties: 24-bit packed int (type 1 - 24-bit). 32-bit 24.0 float (type 1 - 24-bit) should also work.
Step 4: Choose output location
