Hi Folks,

I new to CEP and I can't find how to RECORD in 24bit/96hz....

When I record my guitar tracks the box pops up with the 8,16,32 bit option and up to 48hz,...however, I don't see 24bit/96hz anywhere.....

How do I record in 24 bit/96hz?????????????

"thanks"

When you choose "new session" It will give you an option to choose the available sample rates for your audio card. If 96 isn't selectable...then your card doesn't support it. (make sure you have the right card selected in the Options/settings/devices menu) For the resolution..just choose 32 float. When you have recorded all your tracks, mix down to one wav...then go to save, then options to choose the resolution you want to save as...

Does your sound card support 24/96? It may not.

YEP my card does support 24/96 recording. I have the new Terratec DMX 6 Fire....however, when I open up a new session, all I get is the choice of 8,16,32 bit and up to 48hz.

I don't see 24/96...

10-4, over...

Do you have that card selected in the options/settings/devices menu?

32 bit float is pretty much 24 bit, you just need to make sure you select 24 when you mixdown and save the wav file...

Yes, I do have the DMX card chosen in the device settings....
what do you mean 32 bit "FLOAT" I don't see that word anywhere???????????

KEV

you need to type in 96000. just highlight and type.

oh, and 32-bit is functionally equivalent to 24.

Camn...You need to type in 96000? Hmmmm.. On mine..it's selectable from a list. It goes from 6000 to 192000.

maybe it's the version..I'm running 1.2a..
