22-2 Idea

I've got the idea of running an AT2020 through an ART Tube MP into the Mic Input on the front of the 22-2. I'm I risking an electrical overload by doing this? I fear that I'll somehow overload the deck... Word-up! I'm not educated in electric matters, so if I sound like a clown, then phoo on the universe! :)

Mainly, I'm thinking that the 22-2 would make a nice "sampler", so to speak... A portable analog sampler deck... :D
 
I've tried a 57 straight into the Mic input, it's not too bad... It's weird though... Dynamics have lots of noise in the signal at my house...
 
Just use the line inputs of the 22-2 with a pre. The mic inputs are pres.
