Just had a listen to scopra, I like it a bunch.
Nice playing, very interesting, not very predictable, kept me on my toes.

These sound good to my ears. They're full and have punch. The instruments are well defined and sound well mixed. You might consider a low pass just to round out the high end a bit; It's a tad sharp in my opinion, but Vai has been known to record it that way.. Overall, it sounds really good though.

Thanks for the great comments..... We are going to go to a Professional Studio to Master the Final Tracks......

in the top 1 percent of the stuff that gets posted around here. obviously some gtr chops happening there too.

great stuff. I would love to hear more.

I read posts of people "wowing" over this piece of equipment, this mic, this "whatever"...then listen to their music and their credibilty with me goes down the tubes in an instant.

Then, I hear something like this, and my interest is completely perked up again, and am interested in every detail of what went into this.

I give it a 10...and compared to stuff around here, I give it a 12.

The guitar parts are mesmerizing. Great performance. The recording quality is good. The mixing is really good. The drums and bass performance is steady and solid. I listened on cans and will have a listen on my studio system later, but it seems the low end could be a boosted just a little.

Yea..... like I said before, its only a rough draft so we still have to master it.....

Thanks MixMKR....Im glad you like the stuff. This kind of music isn't that much appreciated anymore. Its now all about being "Different" and you have 4 Powerchords and people think your "Amazing".....

Tell Me what you think.....

(I know the audio Peaks but its a rough copy......)

I listened to Scopra, very sweet playing, the bass could be up front a tad!

The snare is a little flat sounding, but once again the playing is great!

I enjoyed my listens!! :) ..This is the type of guitar playing and music that I love listening to. Just get that overall bottom end in the mix!!

Gorty :)

Dang... this is amazing. This is as good as it gets.
No kidding. I'm a cranky old fart who has been around the block. I absolutely love this, especially 181. Wow! An actual melodic, finely crafted guitar tune.

Where are you going to master at? Sign me up for your fan club.

Of course, it needs pedal steel :D

Thanks SteveE9C6...... Were going to Master it a Powerstation Studio (Ft. Lauderdale FL). They guy thre really knows his stuff.....

I love Scopra...from the subtle ring on the cymbals and high hat pzzzt, to the amazing, blow my mind speed fingering lead and excellent backdrop rhythm, to the throaty toned bass and on the spot drumming.

Wonderful progressive electric ass kickin' guitar!!

This is soooooo goood....It sounds as if you have 3 different guitarist, with different styles...I definately hear some Carlos Santana magic.

181.....Love the intro...this one is set off by rhythm enticing the lead to dance. I am getting off on this!!

Some pop to the snare perhaps? The cymbals set perfect. I love the dink on the....ride?

I must say, the tones you have on all of the axes is absolute candy to the ears.

I would loved to have heard the lead at the end carried out a bit longer though!

drumming
guitars
bass
...all excellent playing and good recording too.

You sound very very familar, but I am out of the 70's....that says why I can't think of it.

I think some of you doods who post here, are famous musicians and are toying with us. :D ;)

A couple comments above pretty much sum up the good ole boy network that exist on this forum.

A bunch of people patting each other on the back about how good this and that is.

This stuff posted in this thread is very good, imo.

Well, Were not "Famous Musicians" (I Wish).... Acctully, to really throw you off, Me (Drummer) is 16, Bass is 17, and guitarist is 21......

Fame is undesireable IMO, it ruins you from having any sort of normal life.
Many famous people wish they could just lead a regular life.

Choosing Musician as a way to make a living basically ='s Being poor, being surrounded by unhealthy people/lifestyle.

Having said all of the above, you gotta do what you gotta do.
You've got time to explore and see what fits you and what doesn't.
Give it a go, you are young, you still have time for your 15 minutes and you still have a bunch of time left after that. :)

Keep up the good work.

Thanks....... I dont know about Being a Musician = Being Poor...... Cause I see ALOT of musicians living happy and fufilling lives.....

ya don't say. ......... I used to play guitar that good when I was 21. :D

Thanks....... I dont know about Being a Musician = Being Poor

Poor is relative I guess.
When you are young, any money above minimum wage seems like good money, right? Did too me, many years ago. :)

I know a bunch of pro and semi pro musicians. Many live paycheck to paycheck, have no form of savings, no backup, no cush, no 401K, rent instead of own, etc.

Even many famous players don't have a pot to piss in.

Money's not everything but it sure is nice to have it.

Great playing, 181 was my favorite. Lots of talent shown in these songs. I know people who have been playing for 20+ years and don't sound anything like this. Nice job.
