Hey all,

I got a second monitor to spare, and im wondering what would i need to split my screen in half?. I dont need a fancy card with amazing quality, basicly just a card that'll let me split my screen. The computer is mainly just used for recording.

Thanks

you need a dual head video card. go to best buy or your local computer store and pick one up for probably about $30-40. Most dual head cards now are VGA and DVI, so you might need an adapter if you don't have a flat screen. You can also try just using a second PCI graphics card and do the same thing...so you'd be running two graphics cards.

once you go dual monitor, you won't go back

you'll pick up a Matrox G450 Dual head 32 Meg card on eBay for next to nothing. Not a great 3D card but totaly excells in the price range for your needs.

I wouldn't part with mine
