I've always wanted to do stuff like this. One is a bit harsh and the other is very mellow.

I like the sounds your using in the 1st one. When the drums kick in I would bring in the bass there at the same time rather than waiting for a few more bars so that it smacks you in the chest instantly. As it is the drums and distorted sounds lack impact until the bass arrives.
On both tunes the intros are relatively long. I'd like to get to the meat and potatoes quicker

Yeah, I think the intro to both of them is a bit too long. The first one could have come straight off Further Down The Spiral or Silent Hill. There's a lot of weird shit in here, fuzz, hiss, really boomy noises etc, that will irritate people but it fits the genre perfectly - its supposed to be a slightly uncomfortable listen.

Love the effect that floats back and forth left to right in the intro to the first track. Towards the end of the first track in the beat you use some multiple snare hits in quick succession, three of four hits in a row - this sounds bit out of place, could simplify this a bit, kick-snare-kick-snare-tom-tom. But double hit the snares (slightly out of time with each other) and do the same with the toms.

Title to the first one is a bit strange - why not just call it A Passionate Hatred or some other contracted version of the words you've used.

On APCoBH, Yeah, the intro is really long. It does elicit "brooding" well, but that's a hard way to get people's attention. It'd have to be a deep cut (or maybe the opener - followed by the catchy single).
The drums seem a little dry to me. And when they come in, that distorted guitar on the hard right could probably move center a bit (at least until the other one comes in too)

WDWGFH: That intro is also pretty long. Between the two of them, it's kind of all build with no real resolution.
