Now What?!?

This one can be flipped R&B or rap, whatever your taste. No samples, fresh acoustic guitar lick with some clubby synths and crazy rhythm.

Night Life

No samples, even the vocal sample in the background I recorded. This one can be used in a variety of ways, everything from story telling to some aggressive lyrics.

Both R good (well, name a beat of urs that is bad).

Actually good's probably an understatement 'coz what I've noticed with you is that every beat you make is different and better than the last - it's amazing how much creativity u got locked away in that mind o' yours. Feelin' "Now What?!" the most.

those are real good beats, Mr. Sol. Do you make your own sounds and tunes or do you just mix beats?

Yeah, I have been on several discussion groups for beatmakers and you are probably in my top five, no gimmick! Now...must know are you strumming the guitar on that track and echoing the sentiments of the last post where do you get your sounds from? Is your recording computer based? What type of gear you working with? Both of those joints are flamin' hot!!!!!!!

here's a pic of my shit.. http://innovativesound.net/NewSetup2.jpg .. the seagull acoustic guitar and mic (in the acoustically foamed closet) aren't pictured.. korg karma, roland jv1010, CPU, underneath albums are alesis3630 and DBX286A (both compressors).. sequencing is done on Acid Pro 2.0 and mixing is done in sound forge 6.0.. all i really do is adjust volumes, EQ and compress. i haven't been taught formally how to mix but i've picked up a lot over the last 2 years.. with high school i wish i had the time to upgrade my stuff and build a more efficient studio, but its hard to find the time.. i still make beats as often as possible and my shit right now suffices.. i use absolutely no sample CD's or loops, 100% pure soleternity production HAHA.. thanks a lot for the feedback guys i reaaly appreciate it
