2 Delta 44s?

Hey guys,

I was thinking on getting an 8in 8 out card. However, i'm pretty damn broke. Would it be more economical to just buy another delta 44 and use it in conjunction with the one I already own? If so, do you think i'd run into any problems/conflicts?

Yeah, you can run 2 44's at once.
I think the driver supports up to 4 at a time.
 
With 44s and 66s both being well under 200 bucks, this sounds like a GREAT idea. I kind of wish I knew these price drops were coming myself...
 
hmm...would you guys suggest overall though, if money was less of an issue:

2 Delta 44s
or
MOTU 828 mkii
 
Motu 828mkII by far. Was that a trick question?

Two Delta 44s work. Ive done it before, but when i was doing it it wasnt flawless. I think by the time i stopped doing it they fixed most of the problems though. They didnt sync well at all. Sometimes after a couple of minutes of recording they would lose sync, really bad.
