I'm just getting into this, so I'm curious about what other people think about it.

First: do you ever use the Cool track EQ, or do you prefer a plugin?

Next: The fx mixer gives you the option of mixing the dry track in with whatever effect you're using. That makes sense to me in the case of reverb and delay, but what about compression and EQ? It makes no sense to me in terms of EQ. But compression?

Is anybody here mixing amounts of dry track in with EQ and/or compression?

I think for eq,compression just leave it 0% for dry.
Same for reverb as well if the plugin has the dry/wet control in it.
It's there if your plugin doesn't give you the option for dry/wet or if you doing something like a phaser or flange effect and you still want some of the orignal uneffected sound.

Tukkis :)
