I'm just getting into this, so I'm curious about what other people think about it.
First: do you ever use the Cool track EQ, or do you prefer a plugin?
Next: The fx mixer gives you the option of mixing the dry track in with whatever effect you're using. That makes sense to me in the case of reverb and delay, but what about compression and EQ? It makes no sense to me in terms of EQ. But compression?
Is anybody here mixing amounts of dry track in with EQ and/or compression?
