Hi
I did put this on another thread, but realise this may be a better place..
Im looking for a 1U unit with a good eq reverb and delay..currently using a Quadraverb GT, and apart from other problems find the reverb decays quite noisy..
Can anyone recommend something within a (used) budget of £150 ($295)?
Thanks!

New or used TC electronic either a M-one or D-two both units are very good out board FX.
Get both used for about with in your budget and have a hell of a time in FX world!
Just google them up and take a look at their web pages. ;)

Hi - thanks for getting back:) - checked out the M1 and D2, the M1 is missing the all important EQ and the D2 is delay only?...and is unfortunatly over my budget..lovely looking units though.
The Lexicon MX 200 and 400 look great too, but again lack the EQ...
Any other thoughts much appreciated.:)

is this for live stuff? who needs outboard FX anymore (other than for live)?! :P

People whose computers aren't fast enough to run several MIDI apps and DAW effects at the same time.

People who don't want to spend hours trying to make a control surface behave like anything remotely resembling the knobs on a hardware processor.

Or old farts like me that just love to turn knobs.:D

Knobs rule!

Which reminds me of one of my all-time favorite tee-shirts. I was in a grocery store in Lafayette, Louisiana, around the mid-80's. A woman in the store (who was very easy on the eyes) had said shirt on, which has a typical knob printed on the front, right over her nipples. The shirt said...

"I'm perfectly adjusted, so don't touch my knobs!"

:laughings:

Lets see thirty years later and those knobs are now around her belt line! :D
