Hi guys,
I play alot of older country material (Waylon, Hank Williams, Willy Nelson, Cash... that kind of stuff) and I use a hollowbody Yamaha AES1500b and a fender deluxe. I'm pretty happy with my tone, I usually play on the 'distortion' channel, but with just very little grit in the sound. I use a Boss DD-6 delay pedal to simulate tape echo and keep a bit of reverb on.
If any of you guys play this type of music do you add a compressor in the signal chain, and how do you generally have your EQ's set up? I'm taking most of the bass out of mine.
Just want to get some other's setups as I'm thinking about adding another guitar.
Thanks.
Andy
