hey, thinking about buying daw within next few months
and have a few questions.would love any and all opinions...i have da-38 and mackie 1604 which i do live recording on and i'm hoping to find friendly gear to edit,loop,arrange and burn with also thinking of syncing to video in future..
1. i've heard you can interface with a monitor to SEE what it is you're doing.. is this true with these machines and how is it accomplished?
2. i've seen that the vs 1880 comes with logic. does this mean you can use other software as well? can the the yamaha do this?
3 has anyone used the yamaha? since i've got recording covered with da-38, its use will be primarily editing.
4. opinions on the editing on either machine?
5. is anyone really upset we don't have a president elect yet?
6.i'm sure i'll think of more cause i'm always nervous about plopping down anything over $100...
