My old Mitsubishi Amp that I use to power my Cerwin Vegas is pretty much dead. I've only got about $150 to replace it. What would you suggest? How about the Samson S120A Power Amplifier? Thanks!

I would look for something used if that's all you have to spend. I was shopping for a PA and bought two floor monitors and a 400w Biamp amp for $100 from a guy i know. Best deal I ever found

I have a Samson amp in my rack and have never had problems... I have one without a fan for a quiet studio..

Look for a Carver M-400 cube amp on ebay. 200W/channel of old school audiophile power, and generally a great value.

Yeah Dude, Samson has several Power amps under $200. I bought the Samson Servo 170 three years ago and it's still kicking some ass!
Check out the new series, namely the Servo 200 and Servo 300 amps. They're 200 and 300 watts, $149 and $189 respectively. I might sell mine to get one of these upgrades.

I had a samson amp and A/B'd against a hafler that had half the power. The difference was night and day, the Hafler smoked the samson in clarity, low end, etc... I will never, ever buy a samson amp again.....EVER. Cheap garbage!. Buy something good that is used.

here's a Tascam PA 150 (150 each side/ 300 bridged.)
Studio tool... I bid $49. but i don't need it in the least.
I got one for $150 and its very nice, i guess. Its built like a Tank and has the huge coils and all you'd expect from a higher end pc.
