I'm on call from work, can't drink, bored.
Woke up at 9:00, it*s now 20:15 here.
guits, bass, programmed drums and synths (Reaper virtual midi), mixed.
And LOL!!!... didn't fix the beginning, where guits start at different time!!:D:D

a Mixing excercise mostly, We're soon making an EP with my band...
Any comments on mixing???
...it's a bit messy I think?..

Bitch-black.
No snow, dark, distant flashes and bangs from someone destroying leftover fireworks of newyear.
Gothic.

...:D

i can hear that in the music.

the only thing that comes to mind is that there appears to be a gap between the bass sounds and the guitars. great playing - i envy you my chops are nowhere near to yours.

Sounds awesome! Man I wish I can play like that.

How did you get that rhythm guitar tone? That's exactly what I've been looking for.

Listened the rhythm guits and bass together against a clicktrack, MOSTLY on time, alot of glitches in the bass though..made it up as I went along.

...too impatient...:o

There's a lot of stuff off perfect timing, had to play the synths and choir on laptop keyboard.:o:D

My guitar playing isn't good enough for a band, though I've played bass in many.
Riffs are slowly built after hours of cacophone, I play (doodle around) HOURS in a day.
Leads are played take after take after take... (I don't plan them in anyway ahead)..
Just working to get the most out of little.

What guit, pick up, amp and stompbox (if any) did you use for rhythm?

Rhythm guitars (doubled track, panned left and right hard) a Peavey RotorEXP, original mics, DI through a Vox Tonelab into tracker.
Lead guit Dean-V (single, center) with an EMG-->tonelab-->tracker.

Post EQ, and mastering plugins (isotope Ozone) moulded the sound alot.

The guitars sound good but I think they are too far in front and the drums are slightly hidden. I like that synth pad - it fits in well
