1 simple question

just need to know how many mics you can plug in with these m-audio cards

mobile pre

audiophile 2496

quatro

firewire 410

and, is the mobile pre the only one with pre amps?? i have been to their sites but i dont understand the language.

simple answer

The Firewire 410 and the Mobile Pre have preamps with phantom power that will accept XLR mic connections. The other two interfaces (Quatro and Audiophile USB) do not. The 410 and the Mobile Pre have two XLR mic inputs.
