Hello, was wondedering if it is reall necessary to have 2 pairs of monitors? How can I go about playing(practicing) guitar with a wet signal without recording? I have an audiophile,DMP3,sm57/58(mic'd guitar amp),mackie 1202 vlzpro,Boss 770 drum machine, Sonar 2.2XL & Wavelab 4.0. Is it possible to practice guitar with a wet signal through sonar effects without going back and forth unplugging the monitors to "soundroom" to main outs on the mixer?
I mainly play guitar FYI. If any of you have a similar set up, how is your set up or how would you set up mine? Thankyou for all your help! Peter ><>

You want Input Monitoring. Enable it here: Options -> Audio -> Input Monitoring and select every input that you want to use...

NB! Latency should be down unde 10 ms for this. Under 5 ms would be great.
