Better Than You
Was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to go from a 1/8 out to 1/4 without losing any sound quality. I'm using a Soundblaster Platinum (I know, I know, please don't throw to many stones...I'll upgrade in the future), and going into Samson Resolv 50a's. The monitors have 1/4" and RCA inputs.

Connectors don't change sound quality, they are just different shapes built to confuse us.

Radio Shack or any other electronics/music store can get you 1/8" stereo-to- two 1/4" mono splitters.

(It's NOT a Y-cable! Be careful you don't get a Y-cable!)

Don't know why the shack calls that a Y-cable (maybe just because it goes from 1 jack to 2), but I have a few and they are a stereo cable.

I bought one at CompUSA once too.
