1.5 metal song

hi guys, sorry i havnt been to active lately but i have been realy busy. anyways this is my 1.5 song and it actually took about one hour twenty minutes from star to finish. and yes before you ask this is me on vox lol. i know im not that good of a singer but i try realy hard and i usually hurt myself lol.the song is a christian metal song about jesus of course.i feel the mix aint so great becuase i over compressed it alot lol. but anyway for the little time it took to do its not to bad.im gonna redo the whole song because i realy like the song so enjoy guys, and im gonna spend the whole night listening to all your songs. god bless you all, tim pate http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=1751&alid=-1 the song is called the one.

You know what I just realized? In our critiques on these 1.5'ers, we have to overlook "recording quality" as something to pick on, and just critique music. That's DAMN healthy for this clinic. It's getting a lot more of us to post responses, and a LOT more of us recording.

Of course then there are those who have both the recording quality and great TOONS too, and we hate them :D

Listening to the song... between buffering (pauses)... sounds heavy heavy... the reverb on the vocals reminds me of the best the 80's had to offer in heavy music... why am I thinking "Judas Priest"? Must be the lyrical material ;)

Good groove. Very nice for less than 90 minutes start-->finish. Metal heads listen up here, and have your thirst quenched.

Very Cool sound, i like the groovy guitar parts...vocals remind me of Black Label Society...good job. I would do the hour and a half thing but i doubt anyone would listen to it...hahahahahah
 
wow i cant believe you guys liked this lol. i am going to redo this and realy take my time doing so.i just have a very hard time singing this style of music lol. although metal is probably my all time favorite to play and listen to just never had the vox for it. im still hurting from this one. thanks guys for the comments. and yes analytical i would listen if you did one. thanks again guys. god bless you all
 
the flash, rock it man. good tune. vocals could be more out front. I like the drums. don't knock this. keep on tracking. very nice.

nice and heavy. I was inspired to pick up my guitar and crank out some meaty stuff along with you. pretty damn good for 1.3 hours!
 
Those riffs were to cool to ...Ahh,nevermind....Great tune.I won't mention the vox.Keep going with the heavy,gimme more heavy.more i say mmuuhhhaaaaahahhhaahhahahaaahhhaaaaa
