hi all, i'm new but couldn't get the search thing to work!! so apologies if this has already been covered.
anyway, i read on the main site that you shouldn't plug a mic directly into a 1/4" jack socket without some kind of impedance adjuster. however, a mic i have seen that's in my budget comes with an xlr-1/4" jack lead... will this work plugged into the jack input of my boss br-8? and would it work later on down the line with a standard xlr cable?
also, what are the shure c606's like? as they too come with a jack lead rather than xlr.
cheers
