It seems the pulsing click doesn't have any rhythm. At least none I could pick up on. I also think you may want to visit the frequencies in the click and soften it in some of the harsh places. Since it is a type of techno IMO, probably could use a bit more thump.

Nice progression. A guy you may want to do some research in is Chopin. He is a classical master that understands movement. Techno/Instrumentals require good note/melody movement. Ennio Morricone is another good, more modern composer that displays good understanding of sound sampling (even though he did it without sampling) and moving it through the song. Might help you flush out these ideas.

Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to the track and for your detailed analysis. I will definitely listen to the works of the masters you've mentioned above. BTW I visited your Soundcloud profile and listened to your track "Hey now" one more time. Loved the arrangement you've created - enjoyed how dynamic and engaging the track is. Also, the instruments flow so well throughout the song. The vocal performance/vocal sound is great as always!
