You need the Cryllic character set and then be able to translate from Cryllic (Russian) to English. For shits and grins I went through the translation. Here's what it says:

"I killed Paul."

I am fluent in Russian.

Loosely translated, he explains that the fall of communism has led to the emergence of many home recording studios throughout his country.

He would also like to know what gear he should purchase to get a pro sound for under $500.00.

I really don't get it - what conceivably would convince these assholes that there is ANYTHING in their spam that might entice anyone to click their links?????

I mean, OK, I can see the gay porn stuff enticing some of you :D, but there is nothing here but gibberish........

That's because you didn't call the phone number listed. Call it. Then you'll see. All will be made clear.

Because when it only costs you a few bucks to launch a bot or two that'll plant messages on a few hundred thousand forums and god knows how many million e-mail inboxes, all it takes is a click rate of 0.01% to be worthwhile. The majority of these messages don't really care if you buy anything or not; they make money off the spyware and trojans that are planted just by visiting their site, many of which are now geared towards ID theft or towards creating larger spam spoofing networks.

I get that, but I'm still wondering what would conceivably entice anyone to actually click the link, much less phone the number. I doesn't even say "For a good time, click here" or anything.

I mean, are they hoping that someone comes along and says "oh, boy, a link, I just HAVE to click it?" Or "I just HAVE to dial that number cause it looks cool"?

People like my dad, and 6 year old kids will click it. Also people who are very computer-illiterate. They don't understand that just by clicking a certain link that it can infect your computer so they will carelessly think "Oh, I wanna see what this says.. Whoops!"

...or if it's gay porn.
