Sorry about the bump everyone, but my livelihood depends on a working 4-track and this is the most knowledgeable forum I've found regarding such subjects.

I moved cross-country a month ago, and somewhere on the Amtrak my four-track stopped working. When I press play, it makes an awful grinding sounds and the reels don't spin. Anyone know what the problem might be? If so, how is it fixed, and/or how much it might cost to have it fixed? Thanks.
